Food Commons Community in Hong Kong saves the vegetable surplus food in various districts every day before the food is turned into food waste and abandoned at the landfill. The edible food is shared with those in need and help their daily lives. Support for food saving and sharing.

"Food Commons" is a community-based resource network that aims to solve the problem of leftover food. "Food Commons" is originated from the "Food Share Project" launched in 2009. It is the first food sharing action in Hong Kong that combines environmental protection and community mutual assistance. More institutions and the government have then exerted their respective efforts to expand their influence in areas such as education and corporate relations with the public.
