After dinner, a group of uncles living alone sat on the benches downstairs of the housing estate to rest. "Uncle, we’ve brought some unsold bread tonight. How about each of you take two home to eat?" "Thank you! You are so thoughtful!" Uncle couldn't help smiling after receiving the bread. The volunteers were also very happy. 

Last Thursday (23/11) evening, a group of residents in Tin Shui Wai district participated in a group recycling experience co-organized by Food Commons @ NT (Tin Shui Wai) and its regional partner, Tin Shui Wai Community Development Network. 

After working hard for most of the day, the market cleaner was relaxing in the lounge and getting ready to get off work. "Hello! We received some unsold bread from the bakery. Each of you can get one to eat!" "Thank you, you really came at the right time!" The cleaner was all smiles and happy as if he had received a big gift.

店舖陸續關門，街道變得冷清，但在路邊收垃圾的清潔工仍需努力工作。「阿姨你好，我地喺麵包舖收到賣剩嘅麵包，你要唔要呀？」義工友善地問。

阿姨最初有點驚訝，但慢慢變成喜悦，接納了義工的好意。「謝謝你！」「唔洗客氣！辛苦哂你將街道打掃乾淨！」

「你好！我哋今晚收到麵包店賣剩的包，你要唔要呀？」一群露宿者住在冷清的隧道裡，義工的問候打破了沉靜的空氣，傳來一點回響。

「謝謝你，我正好需要麵包！Thank you very much！」露宿者收到麵包後，流露岀滿足的神情。即使是微不足道的幫助，對他們而言也是重要的。
